Chair Comfort Anomalies?

The comfort bonuses can get a bit odd. I used only "Base Game" and "Cottage Living", living chairs here as an an example. (And "Harry Puffer" pack)
I can understand a hay-bale and a mushroom having only comfort 1, but really the Book Club Chair (In CL) should be a 4? Not a 1?
Also what's with those two chars that have no comfort? Technically a 0 bonus?

So other than for 'pretty' looks, why would anyone want to use the chairs without good comfort? Kinda sad since the Cottage Living one is nice.

Does it actually have a comfort of 1 or does the description just say that? It could be a typo. :|

That's what I'm guessing (and hoping is the case). The ones that are blank may also just not have the comfort rating listed.

@GalacticGal I don't know... the mushroom that the caterpillar was on in "Alice in Wonderland", especially the 1985 movie, looked quite soft and comfortable. :D ;)

  • I would imagine if it's a true hay bale, and not one designed to look like a hay bale, that the hay would be scratchy and therefore not very comfortable. As for the mushroom, while enormously cute, it looks to be carved from wood. Owie. That's hard on the tush. But, you're correct, the randomness is confusing. What looks comfortable to the eye, isn't, and vice versa. Weirdness. But, then again, that's what we were promised Weirder stories. That seems to be the ongoing theme, no?
