Changing frame colors on sims' paintings?

I would like to know also.

We used to have the option, but I don’t know when did they change that…

Wait, they took that away? Hmm. Or maybe it was only for photographs, I think. I can't really remember but maybe you could try to see if photographs' frames could be changed.

Wait, we could change frame colors on paintings? Since when? I've tried that before many times, but that's never happened to me, new patch or not. I have a lot of artistic Sims so I would know.

For photos you can change the frame color when you're in Buy/Build mode. I don't recall if this was ever possible with paintings though.

Yeah, I think I have a feeling it's only for photographs...

I wish there was a way to do this. I really, really do. A lot of the time I just use framless canvas version because the frame doesn't work with my decor.

A work around for this is to find some empty CC frames and then use MOO to drag the frame over the painting to hide the original frame but that can be finicky sometimes.

Ah, thanks all. I remember being able to change the frame colors but it must have been photos not pictures. Wish we could do it for pictures too!
