I have 3 brothers. None of us are perfect. Each of us have different characteristics. One brother has a very high irresponsible trait. And yeah, he does struggle keeping a job and relationship.
So that's the reason for this post; to see if people do have sims with negative characteristics for the challenge of real life. I never EVER give my sims anything negative but it's been very predictable, safe gameplay.
Predictable + Safe = Boring. Not to mention that the kids come out like cookie-cutter kids.
