Cheat to get promoted in the detective career. (SOLVED)

I'm not sure if this thread belongs in this section... Also apologies if I just overlooked any threads that answer my question or if I'm just being silly in general. So, to the point. I have some trou...

There is a cheat to get up to the next level, first turn on testingcheats on and then
careers.promote detective

You can also give them a demotion as well
careers.demote detective

You have the sim you want to promote up, to be the active you are are controlling at the time of the cheat.
