Chestnut Ridge is not in the American Southwest
It gets cold and snows. So where is this supposed to be, more like the plains? Colorado?

Yeah, Montana was meantioned in the Livestream, so I'm thinking also bits of Utah, the Dakotas, Colorado, Wyoming, Oaklahoma with maybe a bit of the northern edges of Nevada/New Mexico/Arizona (which is the "southwest" but north enough and at high enough elevations that snow isn't out of the question.)
