Chestnut Ridge is not in the American Southwest
It gets cold and snows. So where is this supposed to be, more like the plains? Colorado?

To me, Oasis Springs is the Phoenix area or southern Arizona. I guess Strangerville is supposed to be Roswell more or less, and I was hoping Chestnut Ridge would be another hot desert area because I like to limit my Sims' traveling to areas that seem like they would be geographically close, unless they actually take a vacation. But now I think Chestnut Ridge is probably Colorado.
