- OzSimsFamily2 years agoSeasoned AceYes it looks absolutely amazing and probably going to become one of my favourites. However, once more like so many of the sims 4 worlds: looks fabulous but functions questionably.
There were several glitches in the trailer - sims walking through and standing in the middle of a horse; sims and horses walking through closed gates… is this a new plane (ie ghostly)? The rainbow is cut in half and suddenly there is no more rainbow in the sky. The horse poop not going in the box as directed by guru - the command actually being cancelled after the sim walked away with the bag of ?.
Speaking of which... The composting box to hold the horse poop was disappointing - why couldn’t it have looked like a composting bin that we add all sorts of rubbish to and get fertiliser from. The better quality the compost and rubbish, the higher the quality of fertiliser produced. That is how it seems to function for the horse poop according to comments in the trailer.
Also didn’t see much evidence of any items from the collaboration with the indigenous community? We didn’t see the secret cave (?) so I am still somewhat hopeful.
Despite my disappointment in several aspects, I have still pre-ordered the pack… because of the gorgeous world, the miniature goats and sheep, and the horses! and all the gameplay possibilities. - handelgamer2 years agoSeasoned AceHmm. The 50x50 lot I would personally make into a National Park. Sure it'd mean Park and National Park but National Parks more feel like camp spots. And I need an easy excuse for people who want to camp or ride around to head over to that area. Do I ever remember to camp/vacation? Not really but eh.
- Simmerville2 years agoLegendI love the GG hood. I'm currently creating a back story including natives and some ancient rituals respecting Nature. It's hard though, cause it's so easy to go too far, but I will have descendants of an old native tribe in my game, and it's just natural that they are aware of some old stuff, although some residents might not be as respectful. Not sure what to make of GG quite yet, except some descendant residing rather primitively on one of the smaller lots there. Might even involve ECO lifestyle, need to plan some more :)
- CS looks like it would be a good place to plop down a pool lot, splash pad or waterpark. If you have Seasons expect CR to be very hot in the Summer Time cause it's a desert world. Sims need a place to cool off granted they can swim in the rainbow ? waterfall river it's still not as fun as a pool.
- MaggieMae72762 years agoSeasoned AceRainbows often disappear quickly, and can't always see a full rainbow. Depends on the conditions. So a half rainbow, or rainbow disappearing seems more realistic to me. I have had times where I see a rainbow, run to get the kids to see, and then it's gone! I love everything about this world. I do wish we had a couple of the 50x40 lots like in Cottage Living, but I will definitely be using this world for my 1800s gameplay as well as modern times!
- PiffleP2 years agoRising VanguardI'm curious about some of the existing builds on the map, outside of the buildable lots.
Especially that fenced area near the 40x30 lot at the bottom of the map. It seems like a good place to have horses trot around. Right now, that's my chosen lot for my legacy family.
I hope some simmer with early access will show it soon in a video, so that I can confirm if it's a good spot and start planning some building - alanmichael12 years agoSeasoned Ace

One striking thing about TS4 worlds is that before and after Windenburg we never ever got a public pool lot again while they were absolute standard (and often the highlight) in every TS3 world.
After Sulani when swimming was introduced in the ocean along with suntanning and lounge chairs, most EP’s if not all, have had a swimming area in oceans, lakes, rivers, or whatever natural water there is in an area of an EP world. Which I think is fantastic, and before that several worlds did come with a pool lot after pool lots were introduced. And you always have a choice to make any lot you have a pool lot, besides adding pools to gyms, spa’s, and parks ( or whatever lot you choose to add them to ).
Yes of course, but after Maxis finally hired talented builders for their worlds, I would love to get at least one more “official" public pool (not a lounge or a gym) - just because because from a building perspective it is the most interesting lot type for me. I think it‘s also time to fix stone-old problems like NPCs not using indoor pools in winter. - ADashofAsh902 years agoSeasoned Ace

Yes, the 20x20 there I plan to make a pool/splash pad zone and then the nameless lot will be a camping national park and a rental house. :) "PifflePrincess;c-18290291" wrote:

yeah I think the fenced areas off lot are supposed to be kind of like free access pastures
since the lots are mostly small and therefore you might struggle fitting bigger pasture on most of them
then again given there is gap in fence the animals won't be contained so
maybe tad chaotic
unless the sheep and goat stay close to where you placed them down hmm- AncientMuse22 years agoSeasoned Ace

Ooooo... I like this idea! Some kind of water park with a pool for cooling off might be just the thing needed in the downtown area.... with a western theme to blend it in with the surrounding area.
**mental note to self: add western themed waterpark/pool to build list**
I wonder if horses can play under the Growing Together splash fountains? That would be so cute.
