Cleaning skill

Am I the only one missing the cleaning skill? We had it in TS2, not sure about TS3. It felt right that some sims were better than others at cleaning (doing it faster), even if not having the Neat trait. I mean, all those sims not having a Neat trait can't be equally bad at cleaning anyway?

Cleaning might sound like a boring chore, but our sims do it all the time, and for stay at home sims it would be good building some skills like this. I think Cleaning pairs fine with Cooking and Parenting.

I dunno. I worked as a cleaner, and I can tell you that there are tons of tips and tricks you pick up over time - stuff to help you do a better job, or clean quicker, or keep things from getting as dirty in the first place.

Plus, you get so used to cleaning, you have a better eye for dirt. You could see a perfectly clean floor, but a person with Level 10 Cleaning will notice that microscopic stain on the other side of the room. And they know just the right combination of cleaning products to obliterate that stain to kingdom come.

The neat trait is so useless in TS4 but I still use it?. I normally break down and get the speedy cleaning reward but I do wish there was a skill to it especially since it applies in retail stores and restaurants.

Not to spam but I just thought of this. It would be kind of cool if it was a skill specific to kids and as they grow up the things they clean stay cleaner longer and maybe their beds would sparkle when it's automade but if they don't have a high skill they will grow up their cleaning would only stay thay way for maybe a sim day andtheir bed would maybe be lumpy when it's automade. Little stuff likethat would really bring out more personality for the sims and it would be gameplay based.
