Clingy Trait

It's a phase from the Parenthood pack. They're only temporary, but I haven't found a way to effectively help a child get through it quickly.

Ok, now I remember, she started that phase. This is the longest phase she's been in!

It's not a trait. I just got it confused with a phase

Although since I have autonomy turned off, my sims don't really get any opportunities to correct their behavior.

what if autonomy is turned off only for selected sim ?

I assume they'll start acting out when they're not selected. As far as I can tell, a lot of phase behavior is based on autonomy. Maybe there are some that aren't like kids wanting to dress like a bear (which I haven't gotten yet). My kid also got the picky eater phase, but I think that just gives them a sad moodlet if they eat something they don't like.

Isn't clingy a trait that was added in the toddlers patch?

For toddlers, yes.
For children as a childhood phase, no.

That's why I got them mixed up. My Sim child still has the clingy phase

Same here. I don't know how to get rid of it. Maybe the only way is to wait for it to end. :0
