Sometimes, kids and teens will randomly enter a phase. This usually negatively impacts their behavior, such as going through a mean streak or being too clingy to a caregiver. It's up to the parent to correct these behaviors and help the kid get over the phase.
Although since I have autonomy turned off, my sims don't really get any opportunities to correct their behavior.
what if autonomy is turned off only for selected sim ?
I assume they'll start acting out when they're not selected. As far as I can tell, a lot of phase behavior is based on autonomy. Maybe there are some that aren't like kids wanting to dress like a bear (which I haven't gotten yet). My kid also got the picky eater phase, but I think that just gives them a sad moodlet if they eat something they don't like.
