Closest career to the military?

astronaut or detective? Or the athletic career?

But if you are interested, Neia has a military career you could try. Neia is pretty much active in the community and has kept her careers updated so far.

I was thinking about it just this week, a military career would be great for my historical save...You can make him a secret agent that works for the army.

Secret Agent is also what came to my mind, too.

All my characters from other games that are military type (Shepard from Mass Effect, male SoSu from Fallout 4) end up being astronauts.

For me anyway, if I wanted a Sim to be in a specific career path the game doesn't have, I can't really accept any solution, no other substitution would do. So if you're privy to mods then there's a few military career mods around already, but if you're fine with a close substitute then secret agent or astronaut is technically close enough due to most likely being high-risk, high-pay govt jobs.

I use a military career mod in my game from Mod The Sims(it has army, navy and airforce branches) I also got an army outfit

Deffo the detective career :)

Take this from a Marine Corps veteran and choose the astronaut for military style. They focus on fitness and Space Rangers defend the planet. I know I'm late to the party but the detective is just police and special agent would be more like the CIA. Astronaut is the best fit.

Secret Agent and Astronaut. I'd say Secret Agent is closest to military but most Astronauts come through the military.

Secret Agent, though I just downloaded a mod for a military career for my latest Sim.
