I play exclusively on my do-everything desktop—I bought this PC in February of 2020 intending purely to use it for gaming...then the world went mad.
I had a 200-hour save on my laptop but decided to start fresh, but if Origin sync'd games via the cloud the way Steam's been doing since long before Sims 4 was new, I'd have definitely brought my save over. If I'm ever back on the road again doing journalism and need to port a save to play in some hotel somewhere, I guess I'll just use a flash drive or a cloud-backup service like Dropbox. But yeesh, EA, cloud saves have been a thing for ages. There's no excuse for a major AAA title not to have them.
