I just want to spread some hugs and support to you, while you’re going through depression. Anyone who has had or is currently going through it, can totally relate to what you said.
At the moment, I am going through an autoimmune flare up and I am physically and mentally exhausted. On my days off from work, I really want to put my game on but I’m too tired. Like you, I have also been through a bad depressive state. I get it. You’re not alone. ❤️
I can’t really help much, I just wanted to share what I did when swapping out devices, but it sounds like you’re doing the same (if I’m comprehending correctly).
I haven’t played on a laptop ever since I got my gaming rig. But when I bought my computer, I put my saves, tray and mods into one folder and zipped it. I then uploaded it to drop box and transferred those files to my computer. I never went back and forth between my laptop and pc to keep playing those saves. So I didn’t have to deal with the headache of constantly replacing my files. Hopefully one day we’ll get the option to just play across different devices without any hassle.
I wish you the best and hope you get better.
I think I tried doing the Dropbox thing when I first got my pc and had to transfer from the old family pc to mine. It was a hassle because there's a limit and I had to upload little bits. I don't even have everything back on my pc like screenshots and videos. I found that connecting the two computers through the network was the best thing. And I only found that out when I got my laptop. I will probably do that next time I try to finish switching stuff from the old pc to my current one.
