club ideas

I have several clubs.

Extended Family Club (eeasy to invite relatives over)
And then several kids clubs: Homework club, Outdoor play club, Princess Club

So I cheat, I found a list of the hidden clubs already in the game, so I tend to create those, here's a link:

I did come up with some Clubs of my own that are essentially bowling league teams, BTW, I have a mod that lets me restrict gender for clubs:


Ten Pin Teens
Requirements: Invite Only, Teens
Club hangout: Blowling Alley Lot
Club activities: Go Bowling, Eat Food, Play Arcade Games

I like to create extremly exclusive clubs.

Elites
Requirements: Invite Only, YA, Adults, Elders, Rich, 5 Star Celebrity, Politician, Business, Spy, Related Skills
Hangout: Any Lounge
Activities: Drink Bar Drinks, Use Bubble Blower, Be Friendly with Elites, Don't Be Friendly with Anyone

I also like to create a bunch of generic clubs, I like to have clubs for every single career/hobby in the game, and clubs for a variety of generic social groups, Geeks, Jocks, Valley Girls, etc.

I hate how low the bar is for wealthy sims. Any sim with a decent house tends to qualify as wealthy according to the club system.

I totally agree, what I do with a club like that is have one of my played Sims as the leader, so I can make it invite only and just pick who I want to be in it.

I have clubs for my vampires, clubs for my EVIL vampires, and clubs for my kids generally - it's usually the easiest way to complete the social aspiration for them, plus then they have friends to grow up with. When Bowling Night Stuff came out I made a club called "Take Them Bowling" and it was all bald sims, but I replaced all the members after I got over the joke. I've had clubs to do a kind of Bachelor thing, if I was looking for a spouse for someone, and clubs for extended families by the score to be able to keep them in touch with each other. Usually I make them up on the spur of the moment for whatever need I have at the time. It's one of my favorite game mechanics though.

That helps but it's frustrating if you want your sim to meet genuinely wealthy sims and the club function isn't able to suitably filter out prospective members.

download a mod for no schools, then:
1 - Download a residential lot pepared for play as school
2 - Elementary school club
3 - High school club
4 - at the "school" lot use a household of 3: mom or dad, a teen (leader of elementary), a child (leader of high school)

Rules:

Elementary school:
1 - Use sciense tabble
2 - play chess
3 - play an instrument
4 - paint
5 - Swim or Work out (in want include swim and use monkey bars)

High school:
1 - Work out
2 - Play an instrument
3 - Programming
4 - Paint
5 - Woodwork

I use the clubs to fix a flaw I've noticed in the game... I've noticed that when you add your own townies to the game from the gallery sometimes they don't show up very frequently on community lots if at all. I just keep seeing the same randomly generated townies, which is annoying because I've added these gallery townies so my sims can meet them for prospective relationships. I've therefore created a 'singles clubs' that I add new townies to. I set their meeting place as any nightclub or bar so when my sims go out the new townie singles are actually there.
