coats inside

My sims have a thermostat and set to warm in winter. However they still wear their coats inside! Anyone else have this issue?

This is why I never have my sims' cold outfits as winter clothes with coats and hats. I'll have them dress "warmer"...long sleeves and pants but never snow clothes. Over it.
