1. No they are not. All of them can be done at your own pace
2. A couple things here. Relationships rise as you complete errands. Also you can get rewarded with rare items (rare milks, eggs, mushrooms), cross stitch patterns you can’t get otherwise, and rare animal treats/recipes. I learned to make the rainbow treat from an errand which can be tricky to find otherwise.
