...From a simmer who's fallen back in love with the Sims 4, after a seriously long hiatus from it! Man, it's been a while! Hello fellow Simmers! Thank you to those who answered my question about ...

Are you on PC? To take a picture all you do is hit the "C" button on your computer and it saves a screenshot of your game to the screenshots file on your computer in the game files. (YOu can choose in came settings whether or not you want the UI included in the screenshot but yeah, just hit "C" haha)
Besides that though, I get it. I used to tell more stories/take more pictures, even upload videos, but to be honest it was all time consuming and all I really wanted to do was play it. Having to work to create something with it after took time away from me being imaginative and just playing the game and creating stories for myself in game, so I quit haha.
Look into creating bundles if you are buying new packs, you get one expansion, one game, and one stuff pack for basically the price of the expansion and stuff, so it's like getting a free game pack. The price of bundles are usually lower than sales too and you can select which packs you want.
1. Some flower arrangement scents calm down bees. Not sure which ones but something to look into.
2. I haven't played with mermaids yet, so can't help you, but just a heads up that there's a fun hidden occult of plant sims in the game too and they have diff needs as well :)
3. Not sure why they won't resume writing for you. That is odd. The usb stick icon is the correct one for resuming. Maybe someone else will have ideas why they aren't doing it?
4. There are daily festivals in Sulani, you don't get notifications for them without a mod though. Most take place on that little platform above the nightclub/beach lot. There's a career for cleaning up the island (which you can do either way ) too and if you complete the environmental branch of it (the other branch is marine biology) you can make global regulations for all the Sims in your Sim World. (Such as power off at 12:00, fishing only allowed at certain times, fines for certain things, pay bonuses for planting coconuts etc)
You can also swim with dolphins and befriend them. I THINK the aspiration is under the location aspirations. You can also connect with island spirits if you use the island spirit lot trait on your home (look for little blue lights in your home to connect with them, you might need the child of the island personality trait to actually bring them to "life" as ghosts though and get blessings, not sure. I don't play with occult type stuff much so haven't explored that part of it much even though all my sims live in Sulani haha.
