This is a category which can be suggested once your sim ages up to elder stage. However, you can increase the chance of it being suggested.
The base chance of it happening is 10.
Having following skills above level 5 multiply the chance by 1.25 each:
- Logic
- Medium
- Programming
- Writing
- Rocket Science
- Research and Debate
- Robotics
- Wellness
- Knitting
And the following personality traits multiply the chance by 1.5 each:
- Bookworm
- Geek
- Genius
- Creative
- Adventurous
- Overachiever
The following reward traits also multiply the chance by 1.5 each:
- Entrepreneurial
- Creative Visionary
- Brave
- Mentor
- Great Storyteller
- The Knowledge
- Sickness Resistant
- Scientists' Expert Repair hidden trait
- Memorable
Theoretically, the max chance of the Wise trait being suggested is above 100, which is basically guaranteed.
However, having the following traits will block out this category from being suggested:
- Cringe
- Snob
- Hot-Headed
- Erratic
