Aside from the unnecessary potential flamebait in their post, they do have a point that the whole ‘don't like, don't play’ counterargument is generally used by people who can't take criticism of things they worship, regardless if it's constructive or not.
I agree so much with this as well.
Not trying to start drama or anything but criticism =/= hate. Telling people who critique a game they like simply "not to play it" isn't at all helpful. Blindly liking a game is incredibly problematic (but won't get into that). Creators need feedback, it's vital. It lets them know what they could be doing to fix the game and how to better the experience of all players.
