Complaining neighbors

I had this too.
My sims was doing nothing loud (just like you) and her neighbor came every night to complain.
She stopped when he married her :#

This thread on the AHQ EA site refers to this issue. On the thread, SimQARobo has been asking for save files from simmers who have had this issue.

@rosemow I already found this thread from googling, but the bug seems to be quiet old by now, I hope it gets fixed soon :o

@Juudia the bad thing is, my sims were supposed to be friends with their neighbors, but its nearly impossible because the relationship drops everytime they complain, no matter how my sims react. Now I always need to change the relationships back with MCCC.

I also noticed that they only complain when my sims were the night out and just came back home. The not-animated elevator can't make this much noice, right? :D

Additionally, I also had a bug where my sims couldn't complain when THEIR neighbors were noisy, there simply wasn't an option on their door, I need to use a mod that disables noisy neighbors now because my sims couldn't get any sleep. I wonder if these two issues are connected to each other in some way?

Try having your sims move to another home, then move back again and see if that helps the issues.

Mmm, I started another save where my sims currently aren't living in apartments, but I don't think moving out would help, I had two families where I had this problem after all, but I'll see if the problem is still there in the new save.

My city living Sim is a vampire, so a complaining neighbor is like getting a meal delivered right to her door!

I hope that the neighbours don't complain again!

My sims were living in that big apartment in Medina Studio's in the Arts Quarter. Their neighbor Selim Benali complained about every.little.thing.
My sims were having dinner - Selim complained.
My sim had a shower - Selim complained.
My sim was painting a picture while her children were at school and her husband at work - Still Selim complained.

The most weird complaint was my sims were all asleep and still Selim knocked on the door complaining. What they can't snore THAT loud can they?
I got so fed up with him so I deleted him with manage households :lol:

On another note though, I did notice with another family if they're friendly with their neighbors, the neighbors don't complain that much.

This is a worse version of what I experience in my game :D Atleast my sims are able to sleep.

my neighbors mostly seem to come and complain when my sim is trying to practice his music in the evening. Still highly annoying, but at least understandable
