Confused about the Voidcritter Cards

I don't understand the cards. So, there are 20 normal cards, & I guess all 20 can be upgraded? I don't understand how that works or how to get the rare limited foil cards. Any knowledge will be appreciated. It doesn't take much to confuse me.

There are 20 normal cards, some more rare than others.

Then there are 20 more cards, a foiled version of each that you also need to find, even more rare than the rarest of the normal.

I found out from another simer DeDay that you have to hover over them in the inventory, they look the same in there, but different once placed on a shelf :)

No, you have to search them in the world, on tree logs and trash cans for example. :) You can also trade cards with NPC's.

Thanks mcrudd. I looked in debug, and the foiled versions aren't there.

I completed my whole collection by just buying booster packs, its tedious and takes forever, but my sims ran around in the background doing their thing while I bought and opened all the booster packs ;)

Nope, they are making us work for them this time :D It only took me two human days hahaha and several sim days, but I finally did it :)
