I know the Paranormal bug that is ruining gigs has never been fixed, but how was Snowy Escape broken by the recent patch? I haven't noticed any problems with it and I have used those festivals.
In my game the gardening bug has been fixed; I haven't seen any dirt piles or plants reverting and losing their harvestables since it dropped and nearly all my sims have gardens. I've even played with gardening in different saves, a couple of them older, and been happy to see that they functioned as normal again.
I am expecting that Henford-on-Bagley will have some nice English-style weather: lots of rain (and some light snow) in the winter months, from Oct. to Feb. and nicer weather, with less rain (or short rain showers changing into lovely sunny days) in the Spring and Summer months, from March to September.
What I am interested to know is what kind of growing season the oversize vegetables and watermelons will have. While some base game plants only have one growing season, several have two seasons. I am hoping the oversize plants have two full seasons so we can get more gameplay out of them. I am also interested to know what will happen to the animals in the inclement weather. Will we see drenched, bedraggled and miserable chickens in the rain, or shivering in the snow, or will they have the sense to go inside their coop? What about cows, can they be milked in the snow or during storms?
The point of a game that releases a lot of its content as DLC is that the packs should be cumulative and each should continue to enhance not just the basegame but all the other packs that followed it. So I am really hoping that there is significant cross-pack functionality with Seasons and Cats and Dogs in particular.
