I'm really curious to see how some of the other packs will play into Cottage living. For one, I already can't wait to see how seasons will affect the world. But also, will the Llama wool be usable for knitting? Will the cats and dogs have any interactions with the bunnies, foxes, and farm animals? Is the new gardening plots only for these pack specific large crops or will we be able us them for other fruits and vegetables? So many details I'm dying 6o find out. The next 6 weeks are going to be grueling.

I was thinking of this too, I would imagine the sim gurus/devs put in thought about how other packs would integrate. For example, I think it'll be cool to have the pumpkin carving station and decor pumpkins from spooky stuff now that there are actual pumpkins in the new pack. :mrgreen:

If we are going to be able to replace paying for food with whatever harvestables we have in our household, I sure hope they have the foresight to not make us pay for the pumpkins we carve at the station anymore.

I don't think llama wool can be used for knitting, because sims don't actually buy yarn to knit from. They could of course add a new swatch based on llama wool, if even possible to tell the difference visually.

Aw, what if you could knit clothes for your animals like you can for your sims? That'd be so cute.

SimGuruRomeo confirmed on twitter that the wool sheered from llamas will reduce the cost of knitting supplies.

I don't expect it to happen, but it would be nice if the vet career also included the new animals. Even if you can't bring them to the vet, maybe if you could call the vet to your lot to help them or something.

I wonder if there will be a way to get wild rabbits and birds in other worlds. I'd love it in certain worlds. Hopefully at least a mod can do it, fingers crossed.

Yes, that sounds interesting, I’m very curious of how the new animals will interact with cats and dogs and their expansion pack. And how the seasons will interact with the farms. And maybe they add new options for the clubs in get together B)

I just hope the ground gardening will finally be fixed & working properly before the new Pack is out.

Hm, if cows, llamas and chicken can be placed on community lots, we could build a vacation community farm lots with a simple accommodation and plenty of farm activities. Perhaps staying there a couple days will not be enough to build relation needed to milk/harvest wool and eggs etc, and each specie probably takes 12-48 hrs to get in harvestable modus, but this could still be a cool community lot :)
