Cottage Living should reintroduce and rework PlantSims

This 100%!!! I think this would be as good a time as any to update Plant Sims in a base game patch, and the team is certainly aware that the community wants them updated. I did think the one dude with the green hair and orange skin (let's call him carrot dude) that was present at the produce judging festival was a bit conspicuous. Although, it could 100% be that he was placed in the trailer solely to further the joke about his entry in the competition (a very tiny carrot).

Sim Guru Romeo did say "Cottage Living will have no occults," on Twitter, but since plant sims are base game, they'd be updated in the free patch, and his statement would hold true.

Plantsims would be an occult sim. And SimGuruRomeo had done said that there won't be any occult sims in this Pack.
ETA: PLantsims were in the base game. But they were introduced as part of a challenge. Plantsims did not ship with the base game when it was released.

This pack would have been a perfect opportunity to update plantsims to a proper occult lifestate. I hope we will get such an update some day.

I'm glad that they didn't add plantsims to this Pack because they would need to focus more on the plantsims to make them into a proper lifestate. And the plantsims likely would have gotten nerfed to the point of them being just like the challenge version. In which case, it wouldn't have done any good to add them anyways.
