Could "reacting positively" maybe be limited to, y'know...people who don't live with you?

You could try making a bug report for this. I'm not sure if it actually is a bug, but at the very least, it might bring the issue to the attention of the right people, and it may eventually get fixed in a future patch.

You think? Like you said, not sure if it's a bug, but I sure would like it fixed...I may do that, and hopefully they won't be annoyed by me, lol.

Yes i have the same issue, i reported my issue on ahq page. I thought it was from celebrity level. I havent known this can be from only reputation until I read this posting.

This is exactly what is happing to my sims and the reason I searched for a solution. Kids eating breakfast and dad walk in they have to stand up and react, instead of finishing eating. There is a mod out that i am going to try can't post the link but it is on mod the sims

I agree, it's really annoying me right now.

I also noticed that when a famous Sim wears the celebrity disguise, the others still react to their good reputation although they're not supposed to know who the person is...

I am looking for a mod to get rid of it all together. Anyone know of one?

I'm using a mod from MTS (Manderz) as the constant reactions were doing my head in. Its working nicely in my game, the annoyances are over :)

It's not a bug, so you should move this thread to Feedback.

At least it works better than Simbot idiocracy from the third game where you could marry the damn thing yet look shocked and fearful every time you looked at it.
