Could "reacting positively" maybe be limited to, y'know...people who don't live with you?

My sim as an excellent reputation, but it's starting to drive me a bit bonkers, because everytime he walks out of his bedroom all his kids have to stop what their doing to "react positively" to his go...

You think? Like you said, not sure if it's a bug, but I sure would like it fixed...I may do that, and hopefully they won't be annoyed by me, lol.
