Cowplant encounter with Grim Reaper trainee....

I have a sim that is in the Grim Reaper career and she got an assignment at work to investigate four deaths by the Cowplant.  Now I've seen the Cowplant work and it is odd because in this scenario all the bodies are strewn about the lot but NOT in the Cowplant's udder which is always the way the plant devoured sims in the past.  I guess it was just hard to depict such a death if they didn't change things up a little and your Grim Reaper couldn't harvest their souls the way the Cowplant normally is shown consuming sims.  But I did have her harvest the cowplant's soul (that's weird that plants are said to have souls in the game...I wonder if pets have souls and can you harvest them?  probably not.   Plants fine,  cats and dogs...nope.  I know you can "fish" for souls though._)
