Each of the mat swatch versions are lovely 🙂They will be great to use in homes.
You can click on the “ask to stargaze” option in the menu. It is nice seeing them star or cloud gazing together.
This might be the problem.

I’m having trouble with the “have a nice chat about holiday traditions”. My sim managed to ask one other sim but it hasn’t come up as an option with anyone else they talk to.

Never mind, the option appeared the next day.

The blanket stand looks cool and something new. Is it patched in, so we don't need to do the cosy event to get it? I'm abroad for a few weeks, so I can't patch my game quite yet.

The patch contains
- blanket stand
- Hot chocolate tray
- Romanian inspired outfits for all ages
- Long coats for adult males and females
The event gives a chance to unlock
- welcome rugs
- A framed tv
- A gaming console
- A scarf in CAS
- A new sim trait : grouch
- Collection of Four Wreath Items
- Slippers
- Two hedges with lights

Crazy question...How do you document research for Jasmine? LOL I think I am overlooking the option on the computer.

The "ask about traditions" task wasn't really thought out well. Even playing multiple times, I ran into sims saying the exact same thing, because the answer pool is so small. And all the answers have to be as generic as possible so any sim could reasonably have that as a tradition. I had my sibling sims siblings ask each other what their holiday traditions are, and they had different answers that ALSO didn't fit their personalities. (A technophobe likes video games?)
The basegame desperately needs new gameplay. The best they could manage is "Talk to sims and get a pop-up" (we've done it 4 or 5 times now in the event), "send an email," "look at clouds," and "cook a piece of food" (we've done this twice now.) It feels like this was all put together at the last minute, because things barely relate to the theme, all the gameplay is extremely basic and noninteractive, there's little plot, and almost all of the reward items are just themed recolors of stuff we already have. I know we're still early into the event, but I doubt we'll be getting anything particularly unique or interesting from later missions.
