The object doesnโt have any other interactions. It is mainly to use for decoration in the home.

Really pretty sims. Curious about the hairstyles for the first and third sims.

I did kind of a workaround for the shoe picture. ๐ค It also requires buying the Remove Shoes wall plaque along with the kit picture.
I sized down the plaque and hid it behind the picture.
I also used MOO to put the picture on the wall. But I'm sure something similar could be done with the picture on a table too.
I guess you could use the shoe rack instead of the wall sign, but it would take up more room. Unfortunately, none of this actually modifies the kit picture, and I couldn't find any CC that does. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
That is a great workaround for the shoe picture! ๐ It is kind and helpful of you to post about it.

How sad. I blame lilsimsie, when I watched her review video she said the sign has functionality and tells your sims to take their shoes off when entering the house... at about 19.04 minutes into this...

That's a good idea! I guess I could just place the kit picture out somewhere and then downsize a wall one as tiny as it can go and just hide it in some random place. It's pretty annoying though, that the picture does give the impression that it works and then it doesn't because there's not really much point in having it at all.

I now have a small mudroom in my sims new house, leading from the garden before anyone goes into the dining area:
I'm still miffed about the no shoe sign though... ๐
The mudroom is great! ๐Very nice furnishing using items from the kit. The shoes are a nice family home touch beside the door.

That is a nice little mudroom. I like the colours and the use of kit stuff.
