@rosemow I've looked in the Grotto but I usually camp there for a few days and keep collecting there as rocks continue to spawn. But I hadn't tried that because of her dog. I think I'll try it today and take supplies for Lyra and Emerald the poodle to go camping there...so far Emerald isn't keen on travel. Perhaps because he was a stray and now he likes his comfortable home!
I hope that you do find amber when you have Lyra and Emerald camping there @simsplayer818 and that Emerald copes with the travelling okay. It is sad that he was a stray but it is good that he now has a nice home with Lyra to look after him.
