Cure werebies now and become werewolf later...

Is this possible? My Sim just contracted the werebies but I am not ready for her to become a werewolf just yet. I want to wait for at least 2 weeks, so if I get the cure now, will it inoculate my Sim ...

You can get Werebies again or ask for Greg's gift or ask another were like Rory to bite you. You're fine.
