Maybe thats because they do want Sims 5 to be an avatar based virtual reality chat. If the rumors are true about Sims 5 being multiplayer, subscription based etc :/ maybe these are steps theyre taking now that theyll implement later...in the meantime im still playing Sims 2. If they do that i wouldnt want pronouns displayed anywhere. If its in a online multiplayer world thats out of my control. But in my own personal game, i dont want to see them period.
