I am happy for those that want this feature. It’s not something I will use. My game is fictional and it’s a world without discrimination or politics so I have no need for this. The sims won’t care if you “misgender” them. It’s a single player game.
I hope that the pro nouns aren’t going to appear in live mode. I don’t care if they appear elsewhere but I don’t need to see my sims pro nouns, they don’t need to see each other’s as they don’t care and if it were to appear in live mode it would feel very much a case of virtue signalling. I understand the CM once said that they want the sims to be a place where we can all learn and grow, I just miss when the game was a game. Representation has always been in the Sims (as it should be) but representation was never the main focus of the sims franchise. It was part of a bigger circle. Now it feels like Representation is at the top with game play being at the bottom of the list of priorities.
