Don't worry about those extreme emotions when it comes to the teens, EA said they protected the teens from this. But be very watchful when you get toddlers in the home, there can be a death there if you don't. Before they are killed you'll get a warning, and the moment you do, send your sim to the mirror to calm them down.
I use the MCCC mod to stop all emotion deaths.
Whoa wait what do you mean? The toddlers can die? Or the parents? I am constantly raising families in my games and so far no dead toddlers but they do get pretty steamed sometimes
Also thanks for the info on the teen's...glad to know school won't LITERALLY kill them (not physically anyway)
