Deciding how to get back to playing...

Had a bit of a shake-up in real life. Won't go into details. Anyway, I'm yet again looking to start fresh with a new Sim save.

Only I can't quite decide what to do. I have about half a dozen Sims I may like to play but can't decide between them. Do I do a spellcaster or an alien, perhaps neither?? A conservationist in Sulani or a farmer in Henford on Bagley or even a high-tech Scientist in one of the desert towns...

So many decisions and just can't seem to settle... and then there are scenarios...

  • I just started a Willow Creek and Oasis Springs premade rotation. I also added a few TS2 remakes as well. I'm only on the first household (The Goths) but I'm enjoying it. Have you ever tried the premades? I got bored of my own sims so I'm trying them.

Also, I hope your real life shake-up is all settled, and you can get back to normalcy (for lack of a better word). :)
  • Why not create a few households with two Sims each. One in Sulani, one in Henford on Bagley and one in a desert town. Make one sim a spellcaster, one an alien, one a conservationist, one a farmer, and one a scientist.

Download somebody else's save. I recently started SweetieWright's and it's fascinating because I don't know ANY of the people, and every single lot is different. It's like a whole new game.

  • If you want to play rotationally, then the suggestion made by @simgirl1010 seems like a good idea.

In case you don't like to play rotational (or don't have the patience for it like me) you could settle for one household with 3 roommates. You could go for a spellcaster who enjoys farming, an alien who delves into the Sci career or robotics and a conservationist. You would have to settle them in one world. But you could go for a large lot and make a few houses on it and lock doors to give each roommate an area that suits them. Farming can be done in any world, your sim can go to Henford occasionally to buy things. A high tech home can go nicely in the desert but I could also imagine one on the remote mua pel'am island in sulani or the island in windenburg. The conservation career seems the most determining because some work tasks can only be done in sulani. Of course your sims can also go on vacation to another world to experience that part.
