I understand that people are disappointed about the number of lots. So am I, and it is the main reason I have not bought it yet. It does not offer a full-size world and it explores one career in depth. (I am not interested very much in fame and reputation.) So for my playstyle, Get Famous offers GP value.
But all of this information was made public before the release. These threads by people who bought the pack full price to complain about the world size are probably great to release some frustration, but they are not going to keep this from happening in the future. I know this forum is not necessarily representative of the community, but I do hope that there are more people out there who refuse to buy at full price; there is no other way to make EA understand that at least a part of the community finds the number of lots insufficient for an EP.
