The lack of lots is really frustrating to the point that I don't even use the neighborhood. Their excuse for making it small was lazy and likely a load of crap. I enjoy the expansion pack and I do think it is the second best. Del So Valley reminds me of the crap neighborhood we got with Get to Work.
Also, since when are games made to only work on low end computers? Are all future Sims games going to be limited because of the possibility that everyone won't be able to run it? If that is the case I guess its time to move on because that is just bad game development for PC.
We should aspire to next gen features as gamers. I know the casual community may not appreciate that so much but how do games become more advanced and technologically challenging if they are always catering to people who don't have the tech to run it?
Sims 3 ran poorly because it was poorly optimized and didn't take advantage of next gen tech at that time. It was so poorly optimized that it didn't even use all of your ram if you had over 4gb if I am not mistaken.
