It doesn't or shouldn't mess anything up. I got a wild hair recently, and pulled the saves folder out. I was tired of what I perceived as 'clutter' in there. Since the naming of the files is far different from other iterations and also from inside the game itself, it's hard to know which save is which. Getting rid of the saves folder allowed me to start 'fresh' as it were. I have not had any negative repercussions from doing so. Also, if you go through CAS and have your desired family saved to your library, you can simply replace the Sim in CAS with your family from the library. I, too, use the fresh game button upon occasion. But, generally, that's
