My sim always comes in under budget. I believe that the budget money goes to her account when she gets paid. Edited to stay on topic: I have never seen a 14,000 gig. Is this a commercial gig? Or is it showing up randomly?

A lot of times, my sim gets bonuses for the gig when the client likes it. I'll have to see if it's because I'm under budget. That wouldn't be right...but a way to get more money, too. Hmmm...

The additional pay must just be a bonus and not related to coming in under budget. My sim came in thousands under budget for a walk in closet for an apartment in San Myshuno. She got a 120.00 bonus.

At first, I didn't know if I would be able to complete the gig. When my sim got there, the apartment did not have a door; just a hole in the wall. I couldn't get her to knock as there was no option. I was about to send her home when she autonomously knocked on the blank space where the door should be and was able to walk in.

She is not yet able to do level renovations, so that is probably why I haven't seen any large payouts.

Yeah...you're probably right.

I'm now doing the $25,000 gigs and you can't even do them! It's the level addition. You have to go into bb.enablefreebuild cheat first before you can add the level. And then once it's over, I get $45000. It's kind of broken. (At least for me).

But my sim is rising up. Hoping to save for a high dollar penthouse soon. ;)

Wow. That's interesting! Glad you were able to get in!

I had one gig where the owner had died (the urn was there) and so she couldn't complete the gig.

Sometimes I wonder if the developers really playtest this stuff. smh

Yeah...I think you rise up fast with the higher paying gigs! Idk...it feels like I've been rising up fast! ;)

I love how you get to meet so many new sims that you wouldn't normally. She's gotten two of her hubbies that way. Ha!
