My Sim went to the Starlight Accolades just the Sunday before. For the first time since the Patch, it worked. I had removed the 12-hour Accolades mod. Will somebody please tell me, why this very next Sunday in my game, the Host once again is A.W.O.L.? The Bouncers are there, there are two Mixologists in the building, the one on the ground floor, the other one on the second floor. I get the popup to get ready for the show and then nothing. The Show is set to begin at 6:00pm. I had all three of my Sims there a little beforehand. No Host. 'Tis my Nightmare before Christmas! Stop trying to rob me of my Christmas Spirit!There they sit all dressed up in their finery, on Pascha, no less, and there's nobody around to hand out Awards. Ho-hum. Glad, now, I didn't go back to the Answers HQ to rescind my 'Me, too.' Oi.Merry Christmas, Everyone!

I purchased Get Fame, precisely to have a famous Sim, in particular a Rock Star. It’s so odd how bugs affect some and not others. I’ve had no issues with customer service NPCs showing up. @GalacticGal your issue with no Host is frustrating. Maybe you could use it as a lesson Erik teaches his children? Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you don’t always succeed at everything. It’s disappointing, sure, but it’s the hard work that really counts. You can get some self-satisfaction in a job well done once you’ve completed a project like that, the Accolade is just an external thing. But I do also see that it’s anything that his winning streak is messed up by a game malfunction rather than Erik just happening to lose. All this is only my suggestion, feel free to ignore me! It is pretty cool having a Starlight Accolade win every week.

@shorty943p There's a very easy workaround for the bug. Before you go to the lot, switch your Gameplay Options for fame. I guess my problem is separate from this particular glitch. For the most part I have NPCs in my game. When I get my Sims down to the PBP Studio Lounge, I often have Bouncers and at least one mixologist. Just no Host. The show can't go on without the Host. It happened again in my game today.

Thank you. I checked the box in Get Famous, had my sim leave the club and come right back, and now there's a mixologist

I have seen this bad bug a lot recently myself. Not just mixologysts, I sent my sim to cafe's and restaraunts as well. No staff at any of them, customers lining up and milling around but no service staff ever show up.
And it is happening now at shops as well, even the thriftea shop at Copperdale now. It's getting worse.
