Did they change how to open cheats?

@catmando830 testingcheats on works for me too - but I did get the execute command thing once then I went into a household and tried again - it just wouldn't do it on the map for some reason - the next time I opened the game it was fine again - weird!!

Ah -Ha, maybe that was the issue I was in the map view placing my Sim. Duh!!! That explains it. It's been almost a year since I've played.

usually its fine in map view, but I had one occasion when it wasn't - so I just went into a pre made household and tried again and it worked - but as I said the next time I opened the game I could enter the cheat code in the map view

testingcheats true and testingcheats on works for me no problem.

'testingcheats on' is what I use and it works fine.

I'm hoping I get back to the game tonight so I can see if it was just a temporary glitch.
