"Did You Fart?" Pictures Added
This is the second time in my game where a male Sim has passed gas, held his nose and then waved at the noxious green cloud. Joey looked point-blank at his fiancée and I could swear I heard the words rather clearly, as he said, "Did you fart?" Astrid didn't looked pleased, covered her nose and mouth with her hand and even turned away. When she turned back again it was to raise her hands in disgust.
I am well-aware that crude humor is part and parcel of the Sims' games, but this is truly hilarious. As a society we've grown very lax on our behavior and things that once were considered very ill-mannered are now funny. Back in the late 1800s this kind of humor made it onto the Vaudevillian stage, which I have to admit shocked me when I read about this. :open_mouth: This was the Era of Queen Victoria, after all. And there were Rules. LOL
When I was growing up (and I'm sixty-six years old, now) in my parents' house hold we kids were not even allowed to say the word fart. I'll post the pictures when I quit playing for the day. Too, too funny. Here's to wondering if she'll go through with the impending wedding. LOL
