- 83bienchenSeasoned NoviceI noticed a distinct tendency to bring back beloved features from previous games, especially TS2.

I loved reading all the responses from the 411 yesterday! Did anyone notice any trends in the responses or see any ideas that they thought were particularly amazing?
Honestly I'm still reading through that thing little by little ?? God bless his soul of whoever is going to read all of that.
I'm actually a little dissapointed in the responses. I felt like a lot of good ideas were buried behind "make ts4 into ts3 and ts2." Granted I would like to see certain aspects and features return. I like ts4 for ts4.
Personally I think my idea was one of the best. ? I was trying to bring new things to the table that we haven't yet experienced in any sims game.
Along with possible improvements.
But yes I am giving an awesome to some good ideas I come across??
Story progression will be meaningless if they don't fix the traits and add more intense/negative ones. And that won't work if people keep crying to nerf any individuality because they can't handle it, rather than choose another trait. Yes I'm still salty about the jealous trait. I want my jealous sim back so badly??? - EvilBnuuyNew RookieA lot of them boiled down to ‘more challenges, more consequences.’ Someone came up with possibly having more of a challenge associated with getting a job, such as interviews, and I actually like this idea, moreso than getting a job right away. Maybe failing an interview can give a Sad moodlet or maybe an angry one. I think they also suggested needing a certain level in a related skill to have a better chance of landing a chosen job. Maybe Traits can tie into the chances of success or failure as well. It’s a cool idea and fun for the more challenge-oriented or storytelling types.
- jannaeddieSeasoned NewcomerI also heard recalibration of pricing of sellables and buyables, private school, more npc control (where they go, how they look)
- most people just asked for features to be added, which goes against what they were asking as they wanted it to be more "why" instead of "what"
- Karamazov123Seasoned HotshotA couple of posts mentioned adding dragons. I think that's a great suggestion.

I think a lot of things are intrinsically linked. If the tools already in place aren't sufficient, of course we're going to need more stuff to take up the slack. Plus the exact parameters were kind of confusing. Look to Twitter posts under the Gurus explaining it, and even then people were confused. "dyl_andwhat;c-17962031" wrote:

How can players share how to make the game more challenging and deep without talking about things they want in the game? It doesn't make any sense.
"Oh, I think we should have job interviews because it will make careers more challenging, but I actually don't want them because....because....well..."
It's nonsense."83bienchen;c-17961262" wrote:

Well, since it is the best Sims game... ;) (just my opinion).
The Sims 4 should have been following Sims 2 since the beginning. It already lacked the creative and world-building elements from the Sims 3, so it would have been wise to give it the depth and lore that Sims 2 had.
But, for some reasons, they made it both devoid of creative control as well as depth, which was an odd choice :/
Let's hope they actually listen to the players who posted.- 83bienchenSeasoned NoviceI'm totally with you with every word you said in these two posts, @bixters.

Yeah bringing the best of the best and improving upon it is important. That is why there is that saying don't break something that doesn't need fixing. It was fun posting in it although I ended up writing a bit of a novel trying to summarize everything I've come across on forums and on Twitch and discord plus a few new ideas too. The 411 is the best way to get heard on forums so I always try to encourage everyone to post there whether they are apart of forums or not and always nice to see new people post there too.
