Did you notice this about the pre-made vampires?

So everyone who got Seasons probably saw that all the pre-made Sims have random cold and hot weather outfits. Well, I thought the same thing until I went through Vlad and the other vampires' outfits...they have their default clothes in both cold and hot outfits, but with flip flops and sunglasses for their hot weather outfits and warm hats and boots for their cold outfits (but only in their dark forms)! I doubt it's just random, because the shoes, glasses and hats match their outfits. I thought it was pretty funny, so I kept it and changed their normal forms to match it. I wonder why they only did this for vampires, though.
  • I didn't notice that at all, but it would be kinda weird if they assigned those outfits only for the premades from Vampires, oh well.
Do the newer premades that came after seasons actually have assigned cold/hot-weather outfits? I've never took any notice, but now that I think about it, I've never really seen a premade from Get Famous in weird outfits. I heard cold and hot weather outfits are not a part of Seasons and were actually patched in before, but I could be wrong.
  • @divanthesimmer and @Huiiie_07 Hot Weather and Cold Weather outfits are indeed patched into the core game, and do not require Seasons. I believe it was patched in with Seasons' release, and very likely was done so so that they could design premade Sims in other packs to have those outfits for Seasons even if you didn't have Seasons installed. That way, future premades wouldn't have randomly generated outfits and could be fully cohesive Sims.
You don't ever use them if you don't have Seasons, but the tabs exist in CAS.

Ah so I was right. Even though I haven't gotten Seasons right at release, I've never noticed the cold and hot weather tabs in CAS, but patching them into the base game to use them on future premades kinda makes sense.
  • Mine don't but other townies non vampires in winter gear will wear vampire pants or shoes like hello "your not vamp" i had to fix them to wear proper clothes fit for dangit weather.
  • Mine don't have consistent outfits across saves but the outifts always include items from vampires.

The premades that came with Get Famous have hot and cold weather outfits and everything matches, so I'm pretty sure they were made that way. I'm also certain that cold and hot outfits came with Seasons - I've never seen them before getting it. It also wouldn't make sense to patch it in without Seasons, because those outfits would be useless if there's no weather changes. Maybe they were patched in, but you still need Seasons to be able to have it in your game.

@TheGreatGorion Interesting...thank you for the info! I wish they changed all premades, but it's not the end of the world. I'll post links to the vamps' outfits shortly.

Just ignore the CC nails. These are only assigned for their dark forms, though.

I know...a lot of them wear a combo of City Living and Vampire clothes. I've given up on changing townies' clothes and just accepted the "new trend". :D
