I feel the Goth name has become so iconic throughout the Sims games that they can no longer get away with translating that to any language. :tongue:
And I believe that new names came with the City Living expansion which adds Japanese and middle-eastern sounding names. This took some getting used to for me, simply because I have a hard time remembering names that I haven't heard before. Venkataraman? Not easy to remember! :lol:
Also I don't like how "Asian" sims in my game are generated, they have a Japanese sounding name and Asian looking clothes but then they're often pretty fat wit non-black hair, which is not what the average Asian person looks like at all. :tongue:
