I'm a rotational storey teller, that spends a long time with each storey, but each is in the same universe (aging is off, mostly). I spend a long time playing a family and their arc before going to the next. Occasionally I pop in to do some maintenance of a family that I'm planning on using again. Pretty much none of the families is normal. Currently I've got the following arcs in various degrees of completeness:
1. The Winters family - twin brothers orphaned as teens with a younger brother that had a distant guardian. I'm back on this one as I love these guys, they struggled mightily as there were loads of rules that made this harder. They're YA age now with a teen brother (there's a woohoo hound in this family)
2. The Reese family - happy marriage with a terrible teen son that hates them both and never stops antagonizing them. Just starting this but it's been fun in a dark and twisted way. Not sure how it'll work out.
3. The Magnolia family. - her mother's a former governor his dad is a senator - together they have limitless funds, no real ambitions, and a blaise attitude toward fidelity, but they throw all the best parties in a beautiful converted set of row houses in newcrest. Not quite done building this but the architecture is amazing and I can't wait to finish it and play they're story. Basically think Gatsby.
