Dim Interior Lighting (Easy Fix - NOT a glitch)

I noticed when my sims first entered the game and the house that the lighting was so dark. I was afraid there wasn't anything I could do about it. It is not a glitch. The easy fix I found (don't laugh...

Agree! More ceiling lights helped - I also clicked on a lamp and picked a brighter color for all. And lastly in game settings is key turn off post effect processing or whatever it's called :)
