- No. There's no reason to disable your antivirus to play a game. If the game is triggering your antivirus, just add it to its exceptions list.

If the game is triggering the anti-virus, I'd be more inclined to find out why and look into the anti-virus itself, or wonder if a pirated copy of the game is at play here. I've used a couple different anti-viruses and no game has every triggered my anti-virus. - Sharooonia6 years agoNew SpectatorI never disable antivirus while I'm connected online.
- DeKaythePUNK6 years agoSeasoned VanguardLike what the others say, the anti virus should not be a problem.
- Definitely not. If your computer is connected to Wifi, you should have anti virus no matter what.

Should anti-virus be disabled during play? Wondering what everyone does?
I see no need to disable AV during game play. I've never heard of anyone attacking a computer connected to Origin. You can play offline and only go online when you want to download or upload to the Gallery.- Add ts4 to your exceptions folder. Games sometimes return false positives and the virus pop ups are annoying. I do dev work and have to except all my workspaces cause it thinks the code I'm writing could be malware as it's a script trying to change the system.

If game was blocked, see antivirus logs / reports to see what engine/shield blocked it
