Disappearing sheet music Bug?

Errr, what?
Just click on the mailbox in front of your house willya? What options you have there?

I checked the mailbox there is nothing to send away...I figured it was like publishing a book. but the music was just gone.

Okay, next thing, check your sim's inventory. Not household inventory.

No it's not in the sims inventory. I also zoomed in on the floors and counters to see if he dropped it.

Once the song is completed, the sheet music disappears. That's normal. You can license one song per instrument by clicking on the mailbox. If you've written multiple songs on the same instrument, the mailbox should tell you something like "you already have a song licensed for guitar." I read somewhere that after the license expires (the royalties get smaller and smaller, eventually stopping, I guess), you can license another one for that instrument.

Huh...yeah the mailbox never allowed me to license a song at all, that is the first place I checked. And the frustrating thing is it takes a loooong time to write a song. Much longer than a book.

Are you at the right level? I can't remember at which level it happens, but you can write a song one level before you can actually license it.

He is level 8 on the guitar. And I didn't think about that.

I just looked over at Carl's Sims 4 Guide (online); you have to be at Level 9 to license.
