Agreed, I actually logged back on here for the first time in a while to start a discussion on this.
The implementation is very disappointing, relaxing should be a state not an interaction. I had hopes that they would possibly add relaxing on beds back in as well. But I guess not since they've opted for it to be a timed interaction. Musical chairs is already kind of an issue, and adding these short relax interactions just makes the sims seem even more indecisive.
